Exotic pets require a different approach to medical care than dogs and cats. Our veterinarians will treat your exotic pet with the respect they deserve and help you determine how to best care for them.
The most important part of keeping your exotic pet healthy is reviewing proper husbandry, which means how you are taking care of your pet at home. We will review their diet and their enclosure to ensure that you are providing the best environment to support your pet’s health.
We can provide similar diagnostic testing options for our exotic pet patients as we do for our dogs and cats. From bloodwork to X-rays to cytology testing, we are able to help get to the bottom of your concerns about your pet through these diagnostic testing options.
When the time comes to say goodbye to your beloved pet, we can assist providing a peaceful ending. You are able to be with your exotic pet throughout the entire process, if that is what you would like, as our protocols for sedation prior to euthanasia allow for this. If you have any questions about hospice or euthanasia services for your pet, please contact us.
